Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Black Mountain Excavation ("BME," "we") collects through blackmountainexcavation.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

• Quote and contact requests: your name, email address, and phone number, plus your company, the service you are interested in, and your project details if you provide them.
• Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, the position you are applying for, any note you add, and the resume you upload.

We use this information only to respond to you, prepare bids, and consider your application. We do not sell it.

How submissions are handled

• Form submissions are delivered to our team by email.
• Job applications are also sent to an internal workflow that compiles applications for our hiring team. Resumes are stored on our web server outside of public view and shared with our team through private links that expire after 60 days.
• We keep submissions only as long as we need them for the purpose above, or as required by law.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile may collect technical information about your browser and device for that purpose. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Analytics

We use Matomo, a privacy-focused analytics tool hosted by our web provider, to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, how visitors arrive, and whether forms are submitted and phone or email links are clicked. This data is not sold or shared with advertisers. Matomo may set first-party cookies; you can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.

Links to other sites

Our site links to social media, Indeed, and our merchandise store. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your choices
